Fingerprint Draughting is led by Mike Thomson, a Licensed Building Practitioner bringing 20 years’ experience to residential projects across Auckland and New Zealand. Mike works with homeowners, builders, architects and consultants to turn ideas into practical, buildable documentation – coordinating the right people and requirements as the project develops.

Mike’s main job is to develop the building plans, drawings and 3D models, then manage them through to consent. He can work with an architect or designer, or develop a project from scratch.
Can Mike manage the building consent process?+
Yes. Where consent is required, Mike develops the building plans, submits them and manages the council process through to consented plans.
Does Fingerprint Draughting work with architects and engineers?+
Yes. Mike can bring in the specialists a project needs, including engineers, architects, weather-tightness experts and planners. He can also work with the people you already know and prefer to use.

Fingerprint Draughting is based in Auckland and works on residential projects across Auckland and New Zealand.
